The market is not slowing down and we’re excited to expand outside of Houston. That’s right! We’re now in Dallas!!!

If you have seen our Series A funding announcement, or are one of our lucky customers who got an exclusive sneak peek when we first expanded - you already know this. For everyone else, we’re so excited to share that we have expanded into Dallas-Fort Worth!

For the past year, we’ve been operating mostly in Houston. Fun fact: we were one of the most consistent and active buyers in Houston throughout the pandemic.

Doorvest launched at the beginning of the pandemic and while it was difficult navigating the unprecedented times, we stuck it through. 1.5 years later, raised our Series A, and many of you - our customers, and future customers - increasingly, month over month, continued to see the value that Doorvest is bringing to individuals in our mission to advance financial security for all. Why We Love Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW):

• According to realtor.com, Dallas will have one of the highest home price and sales growth in the U.S with total year-over-year sales and price growth of nearly 16%, we expect to see strong appreciation in this market
• Dallas is quickly establishing itself as a new tech hub meaning high employment growth rates with higher-paying jobs in technology, education, government, and health care with projected lower unemployment rates to top it off.
• Even as a rising tech hub, it costs about 50% less in cost of living compared to established tech hubs like San Francisco and New York according to NerdWallet.
• With the above in mind, the population is slated to grow by 1.3 million people in the next decade according to a Cushman and Wakefield study with many of them expected to be young professionals meaning an expected strong renter's market.
• Dallas also is ranked 2nd place for business and careers from Forbes and among the top 25 best for living and retiring from the U.S. News & World Report.
• Over 469 public schools in Dallas, TX are rated good and higher by GreatSchools.com which is a huge attraction for families looking for new areas to move their children to.
• Some of the largest companies like Exxon Mobil, Southwest Airlines, and American Airlines Group have headquarters here.
• Dallas is a great example and balance of city and suburban, famous for 6 major sports teams in NBA, NFL, MLB, MLS, NHL, and WNBA, like the Dallas Mavericks attracting great talent, entertainment, and more.
• According to Zumper, the Median rent in Dallas is $2,300 per month for a 3-bedroom home, last updated December 2021.
• Rivian, an electric car company, rivalry to Tesla, is considering building their electric truck factory in Dallas-Fort Worth which would bring an additional 7,500 jobs.
